Making sustainability measurable.
Co-authored PARS, a 2025 regenerative-agriculture assessment protocol with 124 indicators across six dimensions.
The context
Assessing regenerative agriculture requires structured dimensions and comparable criteria that go beyond broad sustainability claims.
My responsibility
Participated in the Sustainability Economic Valuation Group (VES) and contributed as a co-author to the published PARS methodology.
What I did
- Worked with research themes involving economic and socio-environmental valuation.
- Contributed to interdisciplinary methodological development around sustainability indicators and multicriteria assessment.
- Co-authored the published 2025 PARS research output, available through the Embrapa repository.
Outcomes & significance
PARS sets out 124 ranked and weighted indicators across environmental, socio-economic, governance, agricultural, biodiversity and cultural dimensions. It is a methodological contribution; its real-world impact depends on adoption and application.
